thanks for reminding us all of that. I have been pretty hardcore in recent months to the point of not really being able to “enjoy” many things but i still indulge in a lot of problematic tv.
Sometimes problematic TV is the perfect guilty pleasure. I just spent all day watching Pretty Little Liars - a show about four rich white girls (one of whom has a non-white parent, but is definitely white-passing) and full of drama. It’s certainly not social justice TV, but it’s fun - and sometimes I need to lose myself in mindless TV.
