Some of my best friends are Yankees fans! And that’s not even a lie, though it does sound awfully similar to the racists who say “One of my best friends is black.” or the homophobes who say “I have a gay uncle.” I promise I am not prejudiced against Yankee fans! I recently did a whole post in tribute to Mariano Rivera over on my baseball blog!
