She did do that. In Malawi you have to have lived in country for at least eighteen months in order to adopt a Malawian child - the idea is to make sure that people who adopt Malawian children understand, respect, and will instill Malawian culture in their children. They are not interested in adoption tourism.
And as for the swastika stunt, the article is right there in HuffPo.
It’s okay to enjoy Madonna’s music - if you didn’t like problematic things, there would be almost nothing to watch, listen to, or read (personal confession: I am addicted to Glee and ANTM, despite them being intensely problematic). I just try not to PAY FOR the things that are problematic - I pirate them, or borrow them, so that the creator doesn’t profit from their bigotry.

thanks for reminding us all of that. I have been pretty hardcore in recent months to the point of not really being able to “enjoy” many things but i still indulge in a lot of problematic tv.
